Water-A Potion Of Life...

"Pure Water" is not just a daily drink to quench your thirst. It is definitely a magical potion to those who actually understand the value and benefits in it.We often drink water just for the sake of drinking it or when we are thirsty, but do we really consider it's actual importance in life? I am sure after you read my post on this simple element H2O in your life, your attitude and consumption towards it will change completely.

So lets have a look at the post on benefits and importance of water.

1] Why To Drink:

As being the main component of the body, it is required for proper functioning of all the organs.
  • It keeps your skin radiant, clear and glowing. Definitely makes your skin healthy and beautiful.
  • Keeps your hair, nails and body in good conditions.
  • Helps to flush out toxins from the body.
  • It helps in digestion, reduces constipation and maintains acid levels too. 
  • Supports in weight loss as hydration reduces bloating.
  • Best to improve your dull and irritated mood.
  • Majorly helps in reduction of fatigue.
  • Boosts up your energy levels. A great help for tired body too.
  • Reduces headaches. Helps in migraines. Totally helps in proper functioning of brain.
  • Good to balance out your body temperatures by being hydrated most of the times.
  • Keeps your breath fresh as dehydration leads to bad oral hygiene.
  • Gives you a good immune system. Keeps you protected from many infections.

2] How Much To Drink:

Always ask yourself, am I drinking enough water? To be hydrated you should drink at least 8-12 glasses of water everyday. Considering your body weight, 1 litre per 20 kg should be consumed. For example, if you are 40 kg 2 litres of water is must. Keep your hydration level good all day long according to the required individual quantity. It is always recommended to consume minimum 2 litres of water in pure form apart from other liquid intakes in a day.

3] When To Drink:

Water intake should be at regular intervals. Best way is to have a glass of water as soon as you wake up in the morning to keep the stomach clean and the function system at work. For weight loss you can have one glass of water half an hour before a meal and half an hour after a meal. Prevent water intake in between meals. As hunger and thirst pangs are almost the same, make sure you drink a glass of water rather than munching snacks unnecessarily. Also, keep yourself hydrated when you stay awake late nights. that definitely adds beauty to your face as well. Drink water when ill, tired or to reduce fatigue and dizziness. Lots of water before and after workouts for your muscles is must. Drink when you require.

4] How To Drink:

Try to sit and drink water when u can to avoid gastrointestinal tract disorder and other disorders like kidney damage, arthritis, nerve tension etc. Always drink water sip by sip and not in a single gulp no matter how much you are thirsty or in hurry.

I personally drink 2-3 litres of water on regular basis everyday mostly at room temperature no matter what the climate is. I personally recommend you all to keep yourself hydrated to have a healthy and beautiful body. As the importance and benefits of water mentioned above are scientifically proven, I hope you all will reconsider your thoughts on water intake on day to day basis.
